project car: 1963 Falcon 2 door sedan post coupe w clean B.C. registration
– body mostly straight w little rust: some minor dings & dents and pinhole rust except the *floor pans which need repair/replacement*and one rear shackle mount it could use a R front fender, some headlight bezels, &1 taillight lens,
– Interior is very rough: no headliner or floor mat, seats needs recovering, ’64-5 steering column (1″ shorter for safety) w mustang collar (no shift lever etc), mustang floor shifter, Mustang bucket seats, all wiring original never cut into,
– ’68 289 4 brl A code (same engine block number as K code but with hydraulic lifters) engine: turns over fine and was from a recently running car when bought (autolite 4v could use a clean up or rebuild), ’68 mustang c-4 3 spd. auto.(from running car), updated to autolite electronic ignition distributor, correct 289 HiPo exhaust man. for proper engine compartment fit etc, factoryV-8 motor mounts,
– Power Steering: 1965 V-8 power steering system this is the best small Falcon steering system as the ’60-’64 Falcons are prone to bumpsteer this (redesigned V8 mustang style centrelink) came on ’65 Falcons and Comets only,
– 1965 V-8 5 lug front spindles/drum brakes: you can bolt the early mustang discs on these spindles,
these are a good way to put disc brakes on the early Falcons as the Granada swap does not work on pre ’67 cars (*totally different steering geometry),
– Maverick 8″ 5 lug rear axle: this is the only other Ford rear end even close in size to the original axle the 8″ is 31 spline and can be easily converted to disc as well (*the versaille 28 spline 9″ is 3″ wider than the little falcons), V8 driveshaft,
– updated to dual master cylinder (orig was single), updated to Alternator instead of Generator, was a standard still has clutch pedal, mechanically it needs floor shifter installed and to find v8 gas pedal linkage and radiator $2,600. o.b.o.
*needs floorpans and some re-assembly
*pics are prior to 5 lug swap *

  1. Is this Falcon still on the market? What parts does it come with you write that the floor shifter needs to be installed so it does come with it?
I am in Surrey and this car is in Abbotsford? What would be a good time if I want to come check it out?

    Thanks
    Sam.
